①Bottom Bracket Shell
②Left BB Cup
③Right BB Cup
Installation Steps
- Prepare the Bottom Bracket Shell
Clean the frame's bottom bracket shell thoroughly. Remove metal chips, dirt, and excess paint. - Grease Application
Apply a thin layer of grease to both the threads inside the shell and the external threads of the bottom bracket cups. - Install Left (Non-Drive Side) Cup
Hand-tighten the left cup clockwise into the shell by a few turns. - Install Right (Drive Side) Cup
Hand-tighten the right cup counter-clockwise into the shell. - Torque Tightening
Right cup: Use the bottom bracket tool and torque wrench to tighten to 40-50 Nm.
Left cup: Repeat the same torque for the left cup. - Post-Installation Check
Rotate the crankset to ensure smooth operation.
